Fleecen’friends was born in the fall of 2024. We had no idea what we were doing. We didn’t have a plan, we had no clue how to find a factory, but we had a vision to make familiar favorites better, with more of an edge, more colorful, and with hand-picked fabrics that actually last.

There are pieces in our closets that we reach for again and again. Because they fit just right, they don’t require a lot of thought, and they’re effortless. But our problem was that they would feel good for a couple of months until they started fading. Or when they were pulled from the wash, a button had fallen off.

At Fleecen’friends, we’re bringing back all of our beloved pieces, but we’re hand-picking fabrics that last. We’re considering the tailoring, stitching, and hands that make the piece. And, most importantly, who will wear it.

These are investment pieces that are meant to be reached for often and that give you confidence throughout your day. I love how makeup and hair allow us to express ourselves so uniquely in our day- to-day lives. Fashion equally does the same, but well-crafted pieces have the ability to be passed down to our loved ones or given to our friends down the road because of how they’ve held up throughout the years.

They become heirloom pieces that Mom wore in her 30s. They hold stories and memories and bring back nostalgia. Slow fashion isn’t just about buying less; it’s about thoughtful pieces that are well-loved and passed down.
